2022-2023 Award Timetable:
Mid September 2022 - Information materials are mailed to all Virginia high schools.
November 30, 2022 - Each applicant must submit his/her electronic application by 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2022.
December 5-6, 2022 - The Award Screening Committee will review all applications and submit three finalists from each congressional district to the Award Selection Committee.
January 23-24, 2023 - The Award Selection Committee will interview the 33 finalists in Richmond.
Late January/Early February 2023 - Winners will be notified.
February 15, 2023 - 2 p.m. Recipients will be presented awards at a ceremony in Richmond. Principals and families are welcome to attend the award ceremony.
